Review Week! March 20th-24th
I hope everyone enjoyed their Spring break! We are so happy to have the kiddos back this week, they were missed! Since we were out a full week, we are taking the opportunity this week to review all the letters and numbers we've learned so far. We had lots of sickness right before break so this gives us the time needed to catch up on missed activities and get our brains and bodies back into the routine of school. We are also reviewing our colors and shapes, but do have a new nursery rhyme this week, "This Little Piggy."
Students will come home this week with the first letter of their name written on their right hand in a random color to help them remember which hand to use for flag salute and for students to compare letters on their hands for another way to review.

KEEP SCROLLING TO REVIEW ALL THAT WE'VE LEARNED AT HOME
We have learned 21 of our 26 letters so far by focusing on one letter per week. Click through the slideshow to review letters and sounds with your child at home. Each time you view it, it should be in a different order. A quick way to go through them is to chant, "The letter is _, the sound is _."
We have been through numbers 1-10 once, and numbers 1-5 twice, focusing on one number per week. Click through the slideshow to review number names with your child at home. Each time you view the slideshow it should be in a different order.
We have been through all of our colors twice and are going through them a third time, focusing on one color per week. Click through the slideshow to review color names and/or the color monster poems with your child at home. Each time you view the slideshow it should be in a different order.
We have been through all of our shapes once and are going through them a second time, focusing on one shape per week. Click through the slideshow to review shape names and/or the shape poems with your child at home. You can also have them name the shapes and then ask them how they know it's that shape. Each time you view the slideshow it should be in a different order.
